Not too mechanically inclined, might give my babe a new carb for the '09 season, hopefully clear up some issues..
I have the 350 engine, 3 spd auto, mild cam, low HP engine, 195 when stock, can someone point me to a link where I can find replacement, didn't see one one ecklers site..
Runs like (*&$(&$#(&(@$(*&@#$(*&(*#@&$(*&#(@$@#$
might need more adjusting, will try that before we replace, but was curious where I can get one efficiently and cost...

I got a "correct" #7044206 (195hp, A/T) from NAPA. I believe they keep a computerized database of numbers. Some people poo-poo remanufactured carbs but it has worked well.
This is the company that does the work. They are located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Hi Kevin - nice to see another MASS owned Med Blue 74! I'd do what Paul says - go to NAPA, get a reman'd carb, then get the original rebuilt if you care about keeping it original... or keep it on the shelf. Don't forget the STABIL in your gas while the car is sleeping during the winter!!
I did a quick scan on the local Craig's List and this is what I turned up - GOOD LUCK!
Vehicel is in shop now, thinking perhaps an Edelbrock carb to clear things up...
Brought it to Les Lucier, Brockton, recommended by forum member here!

If you have the stock iron intake you need a spreadbore carb like Q-J or Holley replacements. Adapter height is an issue for square bore like Edel. Carter. CARBS Tests TQ/HP http://www.corvettefaq.com/c3/carbcomparo.htm
