Billy Mays.

The product is a quick and easy way to get money out of your wallet.

Do you have a specific ding you need fixed or just a bunch of them?

Scratch-x can be had at walmart or parts houses.
It is great. you just about can not screw up using it.
They call it "diminishing abrasive technology"

I've used the Scratch-X also. It works well on scratches that are not through the paint. If you have scratches through the paint and the primer shows, you'll need some kind of touch up paint. Forget Billy Mays.

Sounds like wet sanding and buffing to me, but without all the work. Wonder why body shops haven't gone out of business with a product like that.

Same here. Might work for clear coat cars.

to me, it looks as though the video is run backwards when the scratch is "being repaired".

When you run it backwards, do you get your old girlfriend and your dog back?

Hmmm...getting back my old girlfriend's parts south of the mason-dixon line might not be so bad... I liked those parts!

Scratch-X works pretty good, seems to be a somewhat typical fine grit polish but a little more expensive per volume. I'd say it's one step before resorting to some 2000 (or finer) paper wet sanding followed by polishing. Unless you want to try a more abrasive polish instead of the paper.

Man I hardly ever run into my old girlfiends anymore, but if its someone I've had some conflict with, I bump into them somehwere.
