Default Firewall restoration question
I am restoring a 69, the assembly manual call for "plastisol' to be applied to the firewall. First question is how has anyone removed the old plastisol sealer other than scrapping it off and 2) what have people used to to replace the plastisol and/or can it be readily obtained, i.e Eastwood?. I assume that the plastisol is used to prevent water from entering/leaking into the interior. Any insight or leads would be appreciated.

its now called seam sealer its avalible at most body supply or auto parts stores
