Default Steering Column Rebuilders?

Any suggestions on rebuilders? I tore it apart over a year ago and haven't got around to the rebuild. Getting lazier and lazier as this resto come along. Perfer east coast to save a little on shippind costs....

Jim Shea possibly, I don’t know if he does this for people or not. He is very knowledgeable about these columns though.

There is also a place called Steering Columns Galore in N.Y. where I sent mine . Came back like new.A litle pricey.

I have to rebuild my '73 column. Jim Shea had a few recommendations for me. I haven't decided who to use yet.

I rebuilt my own, but these guys were very helpful in answering my questions. I think they wanted about $750 to restore a column which included painting the correct color. Here is their web site.

I was just about to get my 78 column rebuilt. There is a guy on ebay who always has corvette column he rebuilds. Look him up scrren names dragworldusa. He can rebuild yours, trade yours for an already rebuilt one, or just buy one he already rebuilt. Very friendly person but only checks his email once a week. Very decent price.
