Default Battery Disconnect

I have now learnt the benefit of using a battery disconnect.
For the first time I did not disconnect the switch and guess what after a month the battery is completely dead.
A note to myself in future as the last thing to do before putting the car cover on and putting her to bed.

we learn by our mistakes...disconnect switches come in handy

And they are important for 'easy' safety when you need to work on the electrical system....and for preventing theft.

I found this type to be dependable & easiest. Found this at JC Whitney.

Default Battery Switch

This is really helpful! Question why is the battery dying out after a month? I've noticed on my 82 CE that my battery seems to die out after three or four starts :*****

Dang looks like every possibility. I hope these all go on the neg post because thats a lot of exposed hot iron if they don't.

Yes, it goes on the (-) post. That extra wiring is for a subwoofer with integrated amplifier.
