Nice paint. I was sitting on the fence for yellow or black. Think I'll go black. BTW, my $5k paint money for this year is now going to my son's ortho for braces. Maybe next year.

You'll be lucky if it's only 5K been there paid more

As my old Paint and body man used to say - "Take a good look at it, this is a nice as it will ever be". This was his statement upon delivery of my '57 fuelie from the fresh paint job (he was right, it can only go down hill from this beautiful condition).

Don't mean to be negative - I have a black C3 (that needs paint) - I hope it turns out this nice!!!

Black and red are classic. I had a 57 like that back in the day. Ed

Thanks...I think the black and red go pretty good...I suppose that's why they made 'em in all combos.

Think about it carefully...it is VERY "High Maintence"...but then again...most beautiful things are...

Was the 5k+ for braces or the paint?

I am a big Rally fan...or, I guess a stock fan. I mean...I am not concerned if the water pump has the correct stamping and date code...lol...but I like 'em to look like they did when they rolled off the line.

Thanks to everyone for the great compliments...You guys and girls are the BEST!!!

The pics don't do your vette justice, although I especially like the one where it almost looks solid chrome . . . very nice shine. It sure looked good at the cruise-in last summer. Can't wait for warm weather so we can get out on the road again

Looks just the way I want, I couldn't believe the man when he said; 400 dollars a Gal. not sure if I could afford both the base coat and the clear coat, at that price my paint looks a lot better than good. It sure looks good, glad some of us can keep the economy moving. Thanks for making us drool. Doctorgene.

I'm kinda shocked that the same wheels, tires and even trim rings and caps were in place during the entire prep/paint process.
