Waiting for the chrome to get back from plating, so it will be a few more weeks till it all put back together.
This is before.. how we bought it
And now with new paint
The body was ruff in a few places, one fender was cracked and some panels and a door needed some gluing. But it was worth it as the car looks, at least IMO, better. I put up some more pics once things get all together. Long run I would like to get different wheels for the street.
Thanks for posting the pictures. This is a good looking car also. What were you thinking for different wheels for the street? As I'm sure you know the Daiseys are available in 17s if you want to go that route. I look foward to seeing the finished pictures.
I really like the Daiseys too, even in 16", just wish the rears were about 1/2 - 1" narrower to bring the rear tire more in line with the fender vs sticking out. If I did anything I would probably just get another pair for the rear that are narrower for daily driving and put cheater slicks on the current rears for the strip.
They are American Racing 200S wheels, you can get them with polished centers or gun metal like these. You order the size and offset you need and they custom make them. I think you can get them in both 16" and 17". Find a good local AR dealer and they should be able to get you setup.
