Winshield color?

Winshield color?
In looking for a replacement windshield for my 68 Le-Mans blue car This comes up:
Safelite-Front Windshield, Green Tinted Glass with Blue Shadeband at top
My tank sticker says option 02A01BA tinted glass. I guess the green word scares me. Why would my glass be tinted green on a blue car?
Is this correct?

Hi AW,
I believe orginally all the glass was tinted the same green color regardless of the car's exterior color. It was for shade not style.

AW, It's Green, very light tint, the guy who did the resto on my car forget the to order the tinted glass for mine and I can't stand it. He went through all the trouble to get "LOF" dated glass and forgot to order tint......hope a rock hits it so I can get a new one with tint (uuggh, as long as it doesn't scratch the paint).
