I PERSONALLY love white bumper C3S. i would keep it original but thats just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions. but if its a #s matching car you will definitly lower the value to many possible buyers like myself.

I would do it if it was mine, but your the one that has to be good with it. My opionion if your car was a big block and 4 speed. I wouldn't touch it. This car I would keep original. A small block, there are plently of those around.

There are a bunch of guys on this forum that have done amazing improvements on their cars, and have spent alot of time and money on non-original modifications. I haven't heard any criticism of them and their choices. I don't know why paint is such a sensitive area. I changed my car from green to red because me liking it was more important than originality. Truth be told, if the car needs painting anyway, a high quality paint job in the original color will be a money-losing proposition as well. I say paint it the color you like and drive the hell out of it!

If your car is NCRS quality or at least very close to original, keep it that way to maintain value. Otherwise paint it any color you want.
