fiber rear spring
Hey, anybody have pics of a fiber spring in 80-82. I just purchased one, it's VBP 330#, but it's only 2" wide, the steel 9 leaf is 2 1/2' wide. I'm curious to see how it fits up in the bat wing, and if it will do any shifting?? Trying to torque it down, it starts to deform the plate, and I haven't hit torque yet....help

That doesn't sound like you have the assembly together correctly. Re-check instructions or call the vendor. If it isn't right, you can crack or damage the mono-spring when torquing it up.
