Default 9 leaf rear spring

does anyone have a decent pic of a 9leaf rear spring assembled? i took mine apart to restore, and re-assembled it, and now i'm not 100% sure that i have it back together correctly!

This is a replacement a PO had put on my '78. Don't know how original it is. Took it off for a composite. Can get closer detail if it helps.

that helps a little, thanks. my question is really this: do the top 3 shorter leafs go in with the ends flipping upward like the rest of the leafs, or are they turned over the other way? i'm pretty sure that all of the leafs go in the same way, with the ends turning up, but for some (stupid) reason i re-assembled mine top 3 shortest leafs the opposite way.......

also, aren't those 2 straps on your leaf spring only for shipping puposes?? thanks again, rick

Clamping leaf springs make them stiffer.in drag racing on a regular leaf spring car, you would clamp the front of the spring and leave the back un clamped. the car would launch better and avoid spring wrap up. Those clamps need to be on your spring.

All the curled ends are the same way. I would think so they slide easier with movement.
Straps don't appear to be for shipping, pretty heavy with thick rubber on top, but, again, it's an aftermarket spring, so I don't know if they should be there or not.

Alan, Really nice looking work back there.
