Default 1973 project car

I have a chance to get a 1973 350 4 speed car. The car needs brakes, a tune up, a new nose piece and a paint job. The body has no spider cracks in the fiberglass and is very straight (no former body work). I have a painter that say $3000 for a quality job. I can do the brake work myself too. My questions are, How much is a replacement nose piece? How much would I have in replacing the front and rear brakes? And what do the cars bring with numbers matching motor and trans with 73000 miles? Ballpark idea. As you can see, I'm new to this.

Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike,
It's pretty difficult to put a 'ballpark' price on a car from that amount of discription and information.
What's the rust situation?
$3000 for a 'quality' paint job is a bit of a mystery to me.
It could be a great car and it could be a pit for you to dump money into.
Pictures would help!
Regards,
Alan
