Garage Candy - Fresh Paint
Hey Guys,
This is by far the best milestone I've passed in the build yet.
The colour is GM 953 - Metallic Yellow
Once I get the trim on I'll post a few more shots.
Hope you like it.

That is a color I have rarely seen. Not only is it a sharp color, but also it adds interest to the car. Very nice choice.

The car looks awesome! I'm also impressed with the pavers in your driveway, a nice classy look. Makes me seriously think about doing that to mine.

GM had three colors like this. War Bonnet Yellow, Riverside Gold and Metallic Yellow. I believe all three are very similar but slightly different in the shade of yellow. Metallic Yellow was only used in 1973.

Very nice...
That must feel good to have fresh paint, and be so close to driving her.

I believe that you could also order the optional "Firemist" paint in the War Bonnet Yellow color (small, gold metal-flake in the paint). That looks very similar to your new paint job. Bet it looks great in the sun!
