The Italians did some pretty nice work with the Corvette engines and chassis parts in the 60's and 70's but this thing is awful. IMO. With some modifications to the front and rear and leave off the two integrated wings over the rear wheels and it might look good. The new designers always over reach for shock effect and it rarely works. Ed
Taking the design as its own, I don't mind it too much, though it would have to be pretty cheap to find its way in my garage. As for it being the ugliest Corvette, I say no, it looks nothing like a Corvette, there, it is not one, imo. Its a custom built car that uses the ZR-1 engine and other Corvette parts, but parts don't make a Corvette by themselves.
Don't laugh, there is actually a name for all of these cars. They are called Crap-ettes. The people that design them are legends in their own minds. They actually put a lot of hard work into building these trophies and really believe that everyone is envious of their creations. They drive them with pride while the rest of us laugh uncontrollably and look at them with pitty. They know not what they do. We just have to be foregiving.
