I agree with the above post - you decide what you like. Take a look in the picture gallery on this site and compare the cars with and without the white letter tires and make your decision. You might even get lucky and find some cars with the same color as yours - that way you can see what it'll look like before you spend your money and make a confident decision that you'll like your choice!
Taking a look at the picture gallery is a good suggestion! My 68 had white lettering and I thought they lookedsharp. I turned them around last year and learned I like black too! "Clean" As suggested above, do as YOU like. You will get plenty of complements either way.
H'mm I am still confused, maybe I will start with just one white lettered tire and see how I like that, then two, the three and eventually maybe all 4.
RWL driver's side... BW passenger's side!!!! Or maybe the opposite?? I'm so confused!?!?
If you turn the RWL inside, how do people black out the letters (if they bother to)?

Alan
I would be more concerned with the speed ratings of the tires. It is tough finding H or above ratings on 15" tires. I got mine from the Tire Rack last year.
I do (on occasion) exceed the speed ratings on S and T rated tires. I want to do my best to keep my a** safe.
