Unless you are a good welder and fabricator I'd look for a good used (hard to find) or reproduction frame. Probably save a lot of time and $ in the long run. The remaining metal on that frame has to be much thinner than it was when it came from the factory so strength and safety will be compromised even if you fix the holes. If you hammer on the frame with a pointed hammer it will only get worse.
BTW, it's a good idea to extend some braces from the body dolley to support the front end of the nose. The front clip on my 72 used to bob up and down every time someone touched it until I secured the nose to the body support structure.

Thanks for the advice Rick. I do have a donor frame that includes the sections that are beyond repair on my original....it is leaning against the wall in the background of one of the pics. My frame is so bad that I can grab the rear support and lift up and down and the frame flexes at the doglegs. The donor frame has a lot of surface rust but is pretty solid. If I find that it is also not worthy I will definately replace it all with yet another. (Better safe than sorry)
Also, thanks for the tip on the clip. (no rhyme intended) I will have to support it soon because I don't anticipate the body going back on the frame anytime in the near future.

Actually, I was thinking of a section devoted to all restorations. Factory correct, mods, customs, and even bubbas. All restorations, all generations. I feel that the factory correct section ostracizes a lot of restorations that deserve to be seen. Maybe I'm crazy.
I think that there is a lot of great info out there and a lot of motivational stories and pictures that everyone restoring a Vette can use. The problem is trying to find a particular thread that hasn't been updated in a few weeks. Yes, there is a search on the forum, but... I really enjoy looking at the threads about almost any restoration. And I don't think I'm alone. (At least I hope I'm not)
Why would we want a factory correct restore when we know the factory didn't exactly do it right the first time? Do I add flaws to my paint because the factory did that to?
I agree, make a restoration section, not just NCRS type restoration center.
