Sharkfin Antenna?

I have also noticed the shark fin antenna on newer vehicles and wondered how they would look on the shark vettes. If anybody has added them I would love to see the pics!!!

Seriously, I like the idea of a roof mounted antenna, trouble is, there's not much roof area on a Corvette!!! LOL

I just looked at your profile again and I'll be HARD on you. It says you have a 58 ROADSTER.... a ROADSTER doesn't have roll-up windows.... you have a 58 CONVERTIBLE. I don't use Emoticons or I'd put whole bunch of smilely faces here. I always enjoy your posts.

It might look a little odd I agree. Just a thought. I have an after market stereo and my original antenna doesn't go up.
I guess the other option is an aftermarket antenna that only has 2 wires and no relay.

Pardon my ignorance on this but is that the antenna that is used for satellite radio when factory equipped ? I think it would definately look out of place on a C-3. But thats just my opinion, Peace,,,Moosie

My mom had a car (i don't remember what kind), that had the antenna on the top of the windshield inside the car. Ran from the drivers side to the pass. and down the pass side 'A" pillar. It was basically metal tape, and I'm pretty sure it was factory.
It was always my impression that those antennas (antennae?) were for satellite radios.
