Yes. I am very satisfied. Went through some terrible pain the first night after but all good from that point on. Today marks 3 weeks since surgery and the last 2 days I have felt better than ever. Thansk for asking. I'll be back 100% in a couple weeks. Got a bow hunt planned for mid Oct in KS that I WILL attend.
Andy... I told you it would work out and everything woudl be fine! Glad to hear it too!
Got the interior walls complete. Applied 2nd coat of white epoxy today. Will start with black epoxy squares and trim out interior next week. Waiting for garage door install and for AC/Heater units to go on sale at Sears. Work Bench and othe items after interior complete. I purchased the flourescent lights from Lowe's. I like the idea of using these lights as they will come on down to 0 F. They're also disposable should a ballast go out at only $12. But I hate the cords. Need a way to hide/camoflauge them.
I got the last coat of epoxy on and we removed the tape tonight. I'm a bit dissappointed in that the epoxy bled under the tape resulting in lines that are not perfectly straight. I'll figure out how to correct this tomorrow unless someone has some ideas. Still have to order trim for ceiling, corners and floor. Install AC/Heater and garage door. Then build work bench and tool storage.
Hi Andy,
The garage looks terrific. It should be a great place to play with old cars.
Maybe you could just run some pvc pipe for the wires to travel through. If the pipe was painted like the ceiling it might disappear!
Regards,
Alan
Ordered the trim today. Your right Mr. Alan, I've got to hide those wores somehow. I may paint them and use a sticky hanger I found at HD to secure them to the ceiling. As much as I hate it, Im going to retape and repaint the white squares. The "bleed through" from the original tape made the lines less defined. Purchased some tape today called "green frog" thats supposed to eliminate this problem. we shall see.

Trick to prevent bleedthrough, is to remove the tape immediately after painting each square or line.
yes. i finally got that installed. Thanks for all your help. I've only taken her out for one ride and the lights were on without a problem. Just can't wait to get this garage complete.
