I don't do a lot of posting, since I have limited mechanical ability. I spend most of my forum time reading the posts. So I doubt if anyone will notice, but I used to be Ifailedjimclass. I came up with the name when I first registered on the forum. At the time, I didn't know how much I would enjoy the threads or that I would be taking out long-term membership. In other words, it was more or less of a joke.

W3EOS has much more significance to me. It is my amateur radio callsign but, more importantly, it was first issued to my father in 1935, when he was 20 years of age. Many years after he passed away, the FCC ruled that licensed family members could request a silent key's call, so I jumped at the chance.

And, no, I didn't fail gym class.
