I was active on the C4 section a while back then finished my project, got rid of the car and took a break. As usual I got bored and now I am thinking of a C3 project because they are just plain cool ( I will blame my buddy Saint)
I will NOT allow this one to get out of hand like the last one did though
If you don't mind I will lurk around here for a while to pick up some ideas on the better years to tweak. I am not the collector type so it will not be a #s car. The only thing that I am sure of right now is that I will look for a 4-speed car because I really don't want to pull the dash and column out to mount the pedals.
I will be posting in tech to find out how much TQ different years stock pieces will take before they explode to determine what power I want to make, I will go just above that point
I'm Iroc57's bud Saint, and I can attest that his C4 was quite the beast. He stuffed a 454 into it and at one point he fabbed up some sidepipes for it! I'm sure you'll find your C3 and make it the way you want it...
Hey, I'm not prejudiced against 'modders'...hope you're not prejudiced against 'purists'. We each like what we like. Let's just enjoy our respective rides...and respect each other's freedom to do what we want with our cars. When I go to a car show, I enjoy ALL of them!

Welcome back...
No prejudice here .... envy if anything.
It takes real talent and patience to keep a car in "show trim"
