Default 81 door locks

How hard would it be to change my door locks to electric in my 81.

I just had a guy install new carpets seats and door panels and now my keys wont open the doors. the drivers door wont open even if your in the car pulling on the **** with all your might.

It sounds like your installer made a mistake on the door panel(s) install.
Check pass. side & call installer.

PL are easy to install.

If your locks worked before installation, then something happened during the install.

yea he messed something up. I dont have electric locks now. will it still be an esy job to switch them, that is if I can ever get in my car again. sucks been working on this car for a year and now i get it back and cant drive it.

If you pull the door panel, it's most likely a rod not attached.
I dont have electric locks now. will it still be an esy job to switch them,
Yes, it's just a matter of adding the PL electrics.

Not a very complicated setup. The belcrank on the door might need to be changed to take the actuator rod. The holes are probably already in the door for them.
