Corvette America, Willcox, corvette central, quite a few. problem is once you get on these sights, you can't help but look at other parts spending more.

I wasn't able to find battery buckets on any of those sites, or any others. When I got my '69, it had already been re-glassed. The problem is the battery is just free-floating inside right now w/ nothing holding it down. I'll have to rig up something to hold the battery still.

It looks like they put something at the bottom and then laid the glass on top of it. May be a cheap option if you have any patience and glass skills.

Eckler's does have the hold down and hardware kits that "include under car plate", which I assume is a piece of support hardware to prevent fasteners from pulling through the 'glass.

Anyway...have a look at that..hope it helps.

I have seen this on a few vettes, when the half shafts let go. I think
you will just have to re glass it.

Yup, a half shaft letting go is usually the cause of a big battery box hole. Mine has one from a previous owner. I'd love to know the story behind it.

Here is a link to a repair for that. This box just had the resin deteriorated from battery acid over the years.
PITA to prepair, but works well.
