I used the same interior dye that I used to re-dye all the interior pieces...Got it from Willcox but its a Corvette America product.
That T/T column was black when I got. I cleaned it thoroughly, scuffed it with Scotchbrite, cleaned it again, and used several light mist coats.

Nice work Rob
It's fun working under the dash isn't it.
Did you get the speedo and tack cable to seat correctly? The speedo cable has been a source of grief for me.
Also, check your headlight switch and running lights to make sure everything works before you get it all back together. I've had to pull the dash back out a few times.
Good luck!
Ian

Hi Rob,
Your interior looks really terrific.
Often people don't realize how much time and work getting the interior back in takes. Many things don't want to fit well, plus, it easy to break parts and mounting tabs because the plastic is getting so old.
Your seats look good too!
Regards,
Alan

beautiful work, but why a saddle(is that what color is?) interior when you have such a extreme outer color combo?
again, beautiful work

Oh how I remember doing that to my '70, it's certainly back breaking work. You did a great job. Congrats on your new interior.

Thanks.
Dark saddle, because thats the original color, and all my interior (pretty much) was original and in very nice shape. I didnt want to re-dye the entire interior in black. The car was originally Ontario Orange.
I really like it, and I think it looks pretty good with the orange. Black would have been nice as well.
