Finally got home for good last week and fired the vette up. Started right up after I drained the fuel tank and got rid of all the the frigging ethanol gas. Seemed like it was in a cooperating mood as the headlights even came up simultaneously (never did that before). Took it for a spin and it ran perfectly. Was a really good feeling after spending a year in an MRAP. Power steering did quit right when I got back to the shop, think the pump has gone out. Anyway, going to do the front end next and I will be through with the total rebuild except for the paint. Thinking about getting the rack and pinion set up from VB&P - anybody else out there put this on their car yet?

I have put on 2 Steeroids and 1 Rack attack from VB. Both kits are excellent and provide almost identical parts. I would go with what ever one is less costly. I will be doing another Rack attack as my buddy just ordered a Rack attack from VB. They are having a sale on them now. Either one will perform the same. I have driven both and can't tel lthe difference. The Rack attack uses tie rods on the outer links and the Steeroids uses a Heim joint. Other than that the yare pretty much the same.
