I know we all love the vettes .but what is your other projects, rides.. unfinished projects........ ill start it... here is my 1984 1 ton Chevy silverado with a 454 crate motor and a 700r4 od trans.. use to be a 6.2liter diesel. i bought it to pull my vette to the dragsstrip's and car shows and when it brakes down. some times it gets more attention than the vette e.
I'm doomed to dialup, so no photos, but I love motorcycles as well as cars. My stable currently includes a 1974 Triumph TR5T 500cc twin... built from scratch over a three year period to approximate the 1974 ISDT enduro bikes I saw live in Dalton MA, the only time to date that event has been held in the USA, and the last "factory" Triumph race bikes seen for offroad use. I also have a 1985 Honda XL100 which I scaled the suspension up to adult strength for me and the wife to play on, and I got my newest toy yesterday... a 1989 RFVC Honda XR250R which, believe it or not, still wears it's original chain and sprockets, all the original decalomania and both factory tires. It is clean and SWEET!!!!!!
I'm building a 76 for my wife, and progress is actually coming along well. Can't wait for warmer weather and longer daylight hours!! Motor was pulled, donor engine and trans pulled (91 350 TPI w/700R4 trans), and the initial paint removal completed. I'll be sanding and painting the engine compartment next, in preparation for the engine and trans swap. Suspension will be next, followed by completion of the exterior, and finally the interior. I'm just trying to focus on one area at a time, since this is my first build.

I have been making a backhoe fit my tractor. And they (kubota dealers) said it would not work. I bought the hoe late dec. and have just been taking my time.

i'm actually in bloomfield hills (where cranbrook is) but the car is downriver (rouge) at my parents place. maybe when the weather breaks, we can make a trip down there to check out the vette... i'm hoping to drive it this summer (depending if i can find some work over the summer)
Here is my 1951 Chevy 3100 (half-ton). First is how I got it. Now it is down to the frame. I got ahead of myself and am working on finishing out the garage. I hope to have drywall done this year and begin on air lines.

man todd that truck looks cool how it is! i think i would keep it the way it is. lots of personality in that 1, just make a modern drivetrain and interior an keep the shell the way it is. the surface rust is more of a aged petina. what kind of insulation u going with in the man cave? foam or the pink stuff?
