Yes and no. The original invoice or window sticker for your '71 will show the dealer it was delivered to. Original warranty and POP might have a clue concerning the dealership.

The info is in the 2 boxes to the left of the COPO box. Dealer Number and Zone Number.
The Window sticker had the dealer's name on it.

My dash has been apart before I owned mine so I didn't find anything there, but I believe I have the original tank and eventually will see if the tank sticker is there.
