Oh boy lets chum the water so the mullets can trash and bash Bats car some more...lol too funny,

Yea, I like mods and my car is perfect for that, already modded a fair amount,....don't get me wrong on my last comment...lots of my friends are purists and they love yanking my chain,

For the most part my car will look like this when done, However it will be black and have a roll bar but this same basic look,

Now lets see how long it takes Mr clueless to call it the corvette Summer car...lol

OMG...they do look like identical twins....

Oh dear here is another one that looks just like the Corvette Summer car

And it sure is s sweet looking car!

Wiskey for breakfast AND dinner I see....that dude is gone.....Lol

Default Vettes

I like ALL year vettes. When they were built at that time, they were cutting edge cars just like the new ones are now. I have owned C1 and C3 cars before. I bought my current vette new in 1989. Its a C4 and I like it. I like riding in any year vettes too. Im a car guy. Gas and oil run thru my veins. I dont need to race every body. I will compliment any type of nice classic cars. Were car guys.

People who tend bash other corvettes and have the "See how nice mine is" mentallity sometimes fall into 2 catorgories.

Corvette Queers & RUB's.

In this case perhaps a third category although "queer" might fit here too,
Some people who trash other peoples cars have an agenda...an ax to grind...jealous and bitter souls...trying to feel better by trying to make others feel worse...sad people indeed....

Yes.. but don't take it all too seriously. A lot of it is just ball-busting.
I can find something to say about most any year Vette if I want to.

My skin isn't thin you know that, I still firmly believe that obsessive bashing comes from being jealous....
So to that end it is flattering to a degree....
Sadly my obsessed fan goes as far as to send me private messages that my car is a beater POS,...can we say too much free time and no life?
I realize that many cars are far nicer than mine and a few are far worse but when someone follows me around to poke at me and tell me my car sucks....all kidding and "ball busting" aside the person needs serious help.

Well that's different. I mean something else.
Like, I can always find something to bitch about... with no ones car in mind....
It's more an opinion of GM's ability to screw up a wet dream given enough time and money to throw at a project.

A 1953-55 looks kinda like a bathtub with wheels. (and that 6!)
The 1957 was perfect... so of course they had to muck it all up for '58
What's up with introducing the Stingray rear end 2 years too early?
Split-window? - I would have fired the guy.
The 1968 was like a rolling beta test....
The 1973 has severe identity issues.
The lack of a vert in '76
The soft bumpers
The Vega steering wheel
The bubble back window
The auto-only in '82
The C4 looking a lot like a Firebird...
etc etc etc.....

And someone else....might like just the opposite!!

In fact (and without wishing to join the 'debate' about the cars), the correct version in this case for RPOL36 to have used is you're, which is a contraction of you are, which is what makes sense in his sentence.

Just when I thought the foolishness was over.

The best way not to get involved in some ( stupid ) debate is for a person not to chime into it...
You have not poked at me in a long while...bored today?
How you been doing....

Ben...I Admit I am no grammar cop, I was talking about his last use of "your're" which I was pointing out should not have two "R's" did you miss that?
While your correction sounds good to me in the context of his full run on sentence the reader has to decide or "guess" is he starting a new sentence with "You're bashing....."
Or is it a carry on from that run on sentence giving the ownership of the bashing to me?
So lets high five 3, we are both correct.

Either way it's all fairly silly I never "trashed" C4's I simply said I like C3's better,
Where it goes on to slam my car calling it a POS is just jealous banter, his side kick takes that foolishness all the way to sending me lame private messages about my car being a "beater/POS"
Some folks are here for fun car talk others are here to poke and stir negativity.

Ben allow me to swing the topic to a more fun and light hearted "car" orientation,
I seen you have a rather sweet 76...hats off for doing so much work to what some call an unloved year...I loved my 76...no where near as nice as yours,
So...do you drive it much over there, do you see other C3's around in traffic much?
