The front rim has the Rally package and the rear has the optional hub cap for demo purposes only-We are leaning toward the hub caps- What do you think- we could always switch back and forth as we get bored with the one look-We might go with a red line tire and not the outline white letter and maybe have it pin striped in red- opinions on this as well-
Hub caps need redline tires. White letter tires need trim rings/center caps. If you are talking about pinstrip on car I would say no, only because it sounds better than it looks. IMHO. Great looking car either way. mds...
White letter tires look better with the Rally's more than the wheel covers. The P02's look better with white or red stripe tires.
Downsides to the wheel covers...heavy, prone to damage if you're not careful taking them on and off, and they stick out so far you live with bruises on your shins from banging into them...I learned that the hard way! Outside of that, the P02's are great!
I remember the first time I saw rally rims, I was about 12 and my brother-in-law had them on a 70 Impala convertable. I thought they were a really cool looking wheel back then and still think so today.
Looks pretty good. I'm not a big fan of red thin-lines on a blue car...IMO the gold-lines or thin-line whitewalls look better. But it does capture the nostalgia of the late 60's/early 70's very well.
