What do you guys think about these C3's? I have about $17,500 to spend on the vette, based on that you think there are any good choices here? Where should I get it inspected when I'm ready to buy, chevy dealer? Also I like the look of the 73 the best but I will be using the car as a daily driver, so should I go for 78-82?? Thanks

It's odd how many replies your other thread has gotten compared to this one.
There's not nearly enough information in any of these ads to form any meaningful opinion of the cars. Old Corvettes must be seen in person to even get an 'idea' of what they are.
I can't imagine using a 35 year old car as a daily driver in the northeast.

If I had $17500.oo to spend I would not be buying any of these. Get a car that has been redone and is complete. Look at the "for sale forum" for a few weeks and get a feeling for what is out there.
Go to a few car shows or cruise nites and talk to the vette crowd. Usually they like to talk about their car and could hook you up with one they know or who could inspect one.

Another question is to check with your insurance company to see if you could even get insured. Dont think they like 18 yr olds driving a vette every day with an agreed value if titled and registered in your name.

An 82 is still close to being a 30 yo car....78-82's that are run down and tired will not be as nice as a well kept or rebuilt 68-73...etc etc....the year doesn't matter so much when the youngest car is 28 yo,
Look at what the car has going for it...in your case you need a "fresh" can no projects and with that green you can find it...
