Calling The13Bats.....

We have this in front of us to critique and the best you can come up with is "silly"
This car obviously has a very high level of craftsmanship in it's work,
As I looked at the pictures I thought the rear was very slick...I liked it as I made my way up the side...the first Tu$d in the punchbowl for me was the back wards mounted C4 Saw blades I never liked those ugly wheels on c4's.
And the White accents was hurting for me more than helping,
When I clicked on the rest the car losses it for me in the front end,
I do not know if this build is neo classic or a mix of pseudo- modern with classic flare,
I am not sure what "theme" was in the builders mind.
The front end has a vauge C6 feel but not enough not to look way too much like something from that Italian builder of red sports cars with prancing horse emblems...The cake pan hood scoop is not in the flow or lines of this build and the engine...why a second hood scoop as an air cleaner, seems it is there to hide the dirty, stock engine.
The interior also seems a bit subdued for a car so radically customized.
All and all the whole car takes on a C3 re body kit from my Kit car world,
With that all said I don't know how much past that 10.5 opening bid it will go but knowing styling themes and trends of buying customs this car will always do pretty well on resale, the pool of people who dig it won't be big but they will be willing to ante up the asking price.
I like the car and the work....it's just not what I would want to own...

Just so you know I'm paying attention.... google Callaway C-12 and I think you you'll see the front end look this custom was headed towards.
This car has a little too much EVERYTHING for me.

They could have at least put a better set of wheels on there.

Perhaps...but too much of the styling trends of vettes have been stolen from euro exotics for my taste,
If the builder of this topics thread car was going for a Callaway look they failed badly as the calloway makes a c5 look good....
So many other wheels would have worked better on the thread topic car...
Callaway did a COMPLETE C-12 body in carbon fiber with NO paint. The resin (or what ever you use with carbon fiber) had been tinted dark blue. IT WAS STUNNING!!!!! A perfect example of "less is more"!

Alan
Looking at this a second time makes me think of George Barris, perhaps he had a hand in the build, although it doesn't mention it in the ad...#2
