Perfect Day........
Yesterday, I picked up my car from Tony @ Tony's Corvette Shop in Gaithersburg, MD. Not wanting to use the same route I had taken down, I was given other directions, and I must have missed a turn somewhere. I ended up going way out of my way, and 1-1/2 hour drive turned into a 2-1/2 hour drive. Did I care...hell NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best part, was the weather was just perfect, the roads were great, beautiful country side, and I just had a ball! I wound her out pretty good a couple of time's.... and each time I did, I simply ran out of road before I had to let off of it. What a great feeling that was. When I did get home, I filled up the tank, and went back out again!
So, now that that's out of my system...I will start the color sanding process today and bring the paint finish out to my liking. With any luck, I should have the car perfect by the time my New AR TT II' s arrive in a couple weeks.

I wound her out pretty good a couple of time's.... and each time I did, I simply ran out of road before I had to let off of it. What a great feeling that was. When I did get home, I filled up the tank, and went back out again!
So, now that that's out of my system...I will start the color sanding process today and bring the paint finish out to my liking. With any luck, I should have the car perfect by the time my New AR TT II' s arrive in a couple weeks.

Sorry guy's....no photo's. I did not even think to take the camera.
When I am done with the exterior of the car I will post photo's (before / after)....PSST! its a 1990 ZR-1, so don't start the hate! As I have said many time's, I am a C3 guy at heart! But, this bad boy was just too nice to pass up! When she is as right as rain, I will then let her go to a new home, and buy the best C3 I can find for the monies...looking for a 73 4-speed SB / BB does not matter to me.

Your not mistaken, I thought it was a simple drive down and back, hence no camera. But, the day evolved into a happening for me... I do retain a pretty good memory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
