calipher paint
Just finished putting 1200 degree primer on my calipers with a brush. looks good to me. I will topcoat with a gloss 500 degree black. What do you think? Best color for a 71 Vette? The wheels are a silver/gray and the car is steel cities gray(green/silver color) with black interior. Next I want to clean and repaint my oil pan, which is an orange color, I believe the original color. Any advise welcome. ...

If you want them to stand out a little then I would go with a gloss black. You could also go with with a silver or gray which I think would compliment the car well.
In the end....it will really depend on the look that you are trying to achieve.

If your car is basically 'stock', just paint them with Seymour "Cast Blast" cast iron color to make them look like "new-original" condition. And, they will never rust again. If you want more color, 'silver' or a dark red might look good with a Steel Cities Gray car.
