Thanks for posting. It looks like you have a good eye for the camera
When do we get to see your car in the line-up?

Your talents are much appreciated, Alan. Thanks. Love to see more of yours as finished, sometime.
So this is an example of an NCRS show; I've not had the pleasure. Yet.
I didn't know Motion sold their conversion with the std headlight config. I like that car! Most other Rosen-era chrome bumper products had those single eyes molded high into each fender and are the only detail I've never warmed up to. Doesn't really move me like the GM ones.
Beautiful cars and count me with those who have a soft spot for '66/'67 Chevelles. Beauty.
The Firestone Gold Lines were fabulous looking on those wheels. The rims were so well polished that from some angles it looked like the wheel had 2 valve-stems.
Thanks for sharing those nice pictures.
Yes, that 68 is a "wow" and then some.
Alan had good cause to state "wow" as it was a wow, and a 435 hp to boot, but there were many wow cars there as nowhere man noted. I looked at that black L71 68 a lot
Two of my favorites were a real deal 63 Z06 and a 67 triple black conv. 427/400 with air. Rick Hendrick even had a car brought up. Rick has approximately 40 according to the person who was attending his car.
Hi Jim,
I believe it's Bryar Blue. A great look.
Regards,
Alan
Thanks Alan,
Think I'll stick with Mulsanne Blue. I think I know that orange motion car. Is the owner from Long Island? Restored at Corvette Repair? If so its a neat story.

What is the story with the Motion car?...Thanks Jerry
What is the story with the Motion car?...Thanks Jerry
The owner is the original owner of the car, but. Story is he factory ordered the car through Motion in 69. Owned the car for year & half or so, sold it - getting married, need different car, etc. Regretted selling, lost track of the car, 30 + years later it was spotted on Ebay with a buy it now of $225,000, tried to buy it back & lost. It was spotted again a year or two later at a state auction in Conn. Being sold along with the rest of the collection to cover taxes owed. After a bidding war hes was able to buy the car back for a price in excess of $200,000 and had the car restored by Corvette Repair.
Saw the car there last year under going restoration and last night after its return from Gettysburg.
What's so nice about the Motion cars is that the modifications, especially the fender flairs look factory. Not too big, just look natural. I can see why so many want to modify their vettes like this.
Great story.
Glenn

Hi Nutsy,
I'd guess the street rods were headed to the East Nationals in York, Pa. this weekend! Good weather this year... often rains this weekend!
