If someone was selling a car with Fastenal, Lowes etc. bolts, I would laugh and walk away....amateur and even dangerous.
Many bolts are special for it's application. Some have serrated shanks, carrage heads, unthreaded portions, special lengths, self-locking nuts, holes for cotter pins that must be at the correct location, hardness, corrosion protection(or lack of), coarse and fine threads(theres a reason for this) and the list goes on and on.
You can only get these replacemnts from the vendors and even then, they are not totally correct.
