Default steering wheel diameter

Is there a company that sells steering wheels in a smaller diameter?

It depends on what you're starting with.
If you have a 68, then replacing it with a 69 wheel will be smaller.
If you have a 69-75, then replacing it with a 76 will be even smaller.
But your best bet is to go to one of the Corvette suppliers and look at what they have to offer, and make your choice from there.

Yes. I bought a 14" diameter wheel with a similar dished, 3-spoke design as the stock one, but with black leather wrapping. Got it from Rik's Corvette Parts in N.C. for $99; I think they are still selling for that amount. The spokes are chromed, instead of brushed, but it looks like it came with the car. I used SEM vinyl dye to re-color the leather wrap the same as the rest of my interior. I love it!

Grant makes some st. wh. w/ leather 791 or wood 794 that are a direct bolt on.
I put the Grant black leather one on my Corvette a long time ago. It has polished slotted spokes & a very shallow dish which moves it closer to the dash. Nice, direct bolt on. Ideal, esp. if one is tall.

Grant listed as 14", is about 13 1/2".
