Default A/C Line question.

Hey Guys,

Some previous owner of our 69 repaired the large A/C pressure line by cutting it in the middle of the rubber section and using hose clamps. Not going to fly by my standards (and many others). I need to remove the line to bring to a hose manufacturer near me to build a replacement.

The question is there is not much room at all to remove the large fitting from the line to the a/c box just behind the pass wheel well. I can;t fit a large pluming or adjustable wrench and get any throw on it to remove it.

Does anyone have any ideas of any other tools to remove the large fitting (which is tight as H%LL)? Anyone??

Thanks for any help fellas,
Greg.

Default Try Harbor Freight

My 72 a/c was like that.
I bought a set of large Crows Feet from Harbor Freight. It was very
tough to do, but, it can be done.
If I remember correctly, I removed the splash shield on the bottom of the fender and the side grille to give me some room and a view.
