lower control arm bolts

lower control arm bolts

I am looking for lower control arm shaft bolts for a 1979. I have the small ones and the plate but the large ones came out in ummmm, less than perfect shape. I found them at corvette central for 11.50 each and its seems high to me.

Can I just replace them with a new nut and bolt like a #8 from the hardware store?

The other thing is the 11.50 ones show a washer mine had no washer and the nuts look different from mine. The ones I took off appear to be self locking is that the correct part?

Hi s,
Dr. R shows them for $10.50 for 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
You can use bolts from other sources but your car will resent it.
