Well, took the 71cpe to a cruisin show 2nite in northwest Illinois. Only one other vette there, 73cpe. Stuck in the middle of Fords and Mopars. Have to get there early next time. It was fun driving her for the 1st time on the winding roads. Big difference from when I had the others in the city.
By the way, the 73 took first place out of 35 cars
Looking forward to getting some advice when I get into things in the winter.

Hi Kevin,
The whole idea in telling us where you've been it to include PICTURES of some of the cars.
We like to see some of what you saw!!!! EVEN cars other than Corvettes.

Will do next time. Didn't realize we could/should do that. I went to one on the 4th of July in Stockton Illinois. There was a 69 vert (learning the lingo) there that was the best I have ever seen. 7 year frame off done by a father and son. I would bet that it was at least a 990 point car if not better. Don't know if the're members on this forum, so I won't mention the license plate #. But it was red with blk interior 350/350 air car with the AIR system. Unbelievable.
If I can find out where it is, I will ask to take pics and post them. You will not be disappointed.
