Default Headers and Mudflaps

I am finally getting my headers/sidepipes on this weekend and I was wondering has anyone put mudflaps on to protect the headers or is that just not done?

If anyone does have mudflaps on their vette with headers and sidepipes I would love to see some pics.

Hi,
I've seen clear plastic 'chip guards' that clip on to the bottom/rear of the front and rear wheel openings. I guess the fronts would protect the side exhaust somewhat.
Any more flap like than that, and I think you'd need to drive with a bag over your head!
Regards,
Alan
