Default Progress Pics *Dial up beware*

It's been a while since I had time to work on the Vette, I've been cleaning out and selling mom's house of 50 years, Move my daughter to Alberta in June and then back a couple weeks ago for her wedding as well as things around the house but i got back at it these past couple weeks and it's time for progress pics
The chassis so far, it's almost back on it's wheels

I was working on the exhaust this week, all tacked together ready to weld

I'm begining to see the light at the end of the tunnel

Hi stp,
It's always interesting to see what people are working on, and chassis pictures are the best.
Looks like you're doing some VERY nice work.
Is it going to have a body, or will you drive the way it is.
Regards,
Alan

Please be careful about making your exhaust before the body is on,sometimes the floor boards will make you alter your direction,it depends on the headers and how they fit.Looks really good .

The frame was sandblasted and a few bad rust areas repaired before DP90 and 2 part top coat

Alan yes the body is the next project I have all the reinforcement brackets painted and ready to install as well as the rocker channels

Nice work, I like how the red U joints stands out on the silver. Nice to see another 73 coming together in Canada.

Nice looking work there. I admire the start of your exhaust work. What size piping and mufflers do you have planned for it? I wanted to do that to mine but wound up buying a premade set. Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming.

The exhaust is 2 1/2" all the wat to the mufflers, 316L for the straight & 304 for the bends. The mufflers are 2 1/2" inlet 2" outlet that I got from 7t2Vette

Looks great, it's almost a shame you have to cover it up.

Are there still people who even have dial up?

Hey Steve,

Great to see you back on the project. The chassis looks great

Are you planning an X or H pipe with the exhaust?

Keep in touch, if you need help just let me know.

Ian
