when i bought my 1975 stingray it didnt have a passanger side mirror, nor does it look like it broke off, do this year have both side mirrors or is it no suppose to be one? and then when i look online, i cant find them to replace... can anyone help me out?
My 76 does not have one. I would like to have one, sure would help me see better changing lanes, but I just can not make myself drill the holes in the door.
I never realized that it was an option....learn something new everyday !
I sure wouldn't want to drill holes in my door to add one though...
(Mine has both)
My car was a custom when I bought it, and one of the things was those silly chrome mirrors were moved forward on the door, where they should be, and so I changed them to later shark mirrors, so they stay in adjustment when the silly parking lot brush-bys happen.....
for that matter, I use those stick on bubble mirrors too.....
...II sure wouldn't want to drill holes in my door to add one though...
A little scary, but do-able. I remounted the mirror on my '68. I used the mirror mount for marking the hole locations, took a deep breath, and drilled two holes.

Ya, I get ya, but to me driving without one is just too chancy. Visibility in a C3 is crap as we all know. Better two little holes drilled in a door than wiping out the passenger side body work.
Dealer option, not factory. Should be able to get one from any of the Corvette vendors.
My '75 has never had one and never will.
Same with my '75 .. but ..I find if I move the rear view mirror to the right enough, I can see approaching cars on passenger side better thru my back window ...
