I think the lack of response is due to you not including any detail in what your goal is and at what expense. What are you looking to do? What's the budget?
1st you need to make it safe. Are you looking to upgrade?
Vette Brakes and Products (VB&P) and Van Steel who are both supporting venders put together "kits" that will fit in most budgets that will improve you car's handling or ride significantly above stock. You can also search "suspension" and come up with more threads than you will have time to read.
Just replace the worn parts with stock equivalent parts. But don't buy the cheapest stuff available for suspension repairs...you will regret it if you do.

I replaced only the worn parts on my 80k mile car, and I love the way it now rides. That was 3 years ago on the front end, and last year I finished the rear. I replaced the lower ball joints (TRW), all control arm bushings(poly) I just burnt out the old ones and pushed new ones in, reusing the original shells. All my steering parts were good. On the rear I replace the 9 leaf spring ( stock reproduction), I went with VP&B poly adjustable strut rods, I had my trailing arms professionally rebuilt, and they put rubber bushings back in. Again for a basic stock ride, I like it alot. The adjustable strut rods are great for home alignments. And I have not heard the first sqeak out of the poly front bushings. Good luck
This is a street car that might see the drag strip once a year. I don't have a lot of cash to start with, so I'll be doing my suspension in stages. What do y'all think of this?
-Composite Mono-spring from VBP
-Factory rear springs
-QA1 rear single adjustable shocks
How much "seat of the pants" change will I feel with these upgrades?
