aahhh, just over spray from the previous owner.....I have no clue why the painter didn't just hose this piece off and spray it black while it was off? I took some black paint on a brush to it to cover it up....looks so much better with the grills in it. Still in the process of putting it back together (work some, buy parts wait on shipping and repeat!) Just finished soldering up an old rear lighting harness I bought off ebay in decent shape and a few other little exterior things (1980 front/rear badges, weatherstripping, hood striker shims, painting ttop trim (along the top of windshield & "T"))

thanks for all the comments....I don't mind critical ones either! The wheels are still growing on me, some angles I don't like them and some I do.

my brother took these christmas day with his new camera....too bad it was very overcast that day, the metallic in this paint looks awesome.

Another Cajun with a cool Vette. Very impressive transformation. Great job. I am liking the hood/paint scheme. Giving me a few ideas for mine. The wheels grew on me from the 1st page to this one. I like em and the stance is right on. Nice and low. Rear tires look wide, what size you got back there?
Now you need to post some videos so we can hear how it sounds.

Congrats.
