+1 for willcox. Forum discount. (get it now and you'll get free mounting of seat covers which is well worth it!!!!!)
Carpet fits perfect and you want a little extra to trim off in case your car isn't perfect. I am extremely happy with mine
All the goodies (carpet, dash, pillar trim, door panels, misc screws etc)

you'll want a bit extra to trim off but they come pre-moulded and rough cut. It goes it quite easily.
You'll also want to put down a sound/heat deadener under the carpet. It will really help out. There is a vendor here that sells precut mylar coated pieces to fit under the carpet.
I used 3M undercoating first (2 or 3 cans were sufficient) and then went to Lowes and got a roll of Reflectix which is mylar coated bubblewrap and works really well too.
A few cans of glue are sufficient. I used about a can for the reflectix and then a can or 2 for the rest of the carpet. A light tack is all you really need for most of it except for the rear which may require a bit more liberal use to get a smooth fit, especially on the cargo doors.

Here is a thread I did on another forum for my interior restoration.

The assembly instruction manual (AIM) will help. It shows the factory installation of the interior components and is useful when taking things out and putting things back in.

Interesting S&S, I think Corvette America supplies the carpet, etc. to the other catalog warehouses offering these materials. Maybe you received something that slipped through the QC Dept??

Depends. At one time, Eckler's made their own. Al Knoch makes his.

My 1976 has the same issue with the gage bezel at the top left corner. It seems the dash? is twisted. It causes a small gap between the bezel and the dash. To the larger Forum crowd: is there any way to fix this problem?

Wow.. thanks for the props guys.. You all need to come down here and do installs for us..

One thing to note.. We have been notified that ACC is raising the price of Carpet sets Jan 1. So it wouldn't be a bad idea to snag your carpet sets before then.

I cured mine by attaching tie wire with 2 metal screws into the cowl holding the defrost duct tight to the cowl.
Then the bezel fit in as should, but it is a common problem.

Noonie is right, this is a inherit problem. But the issue goes back to when the cars were new as well. My 70 and 72 bezels are not a perfect mate to the dash pads, both are original parts.

I think I did a post on this in an old thread.. if my memory serves me correctly I posted a picture of the fit too.. The dash pads, and the bezel are all original and mounted in the original holes.

I think that is why you see so many bezels snapped in half.
They try to match it to a area that has been tweaked over time.

How long did it take to redo the entire interior?

Default "Other" Interior Parts?

Maybe I should start another thread, but since this one deals with "full interior resto" I will go ahead and post it here.

Where do I go to get information on restoring the parts other than seat covers, carpet and door panels for my 69??

I am looking for such items as cleaning up the center console, and how do I get a shift pattern that matches the 5-speed that is now in the car?

How do I clean up the E-Brake handle?

Where can I get the blower motor controls rebuilt?

Should I paint the existing center console to clean it up (it's original) or purchase an aftermarket one? It seems that many of the "OEM" replacement pieces don't always fit "OEM"!

I am not looking to do a points car, but I want a factory/resto look. I will be using aftermarket gauges so they are not a problem.

It is all those other little pieces that I want to take care of while I have the interior apart as the last time I modded my running car (carb to EFI) it was off the road for three years! And I DON'T want to do that again!

Thanks, Eric.
