I've been a loyal GM owner for ever but can someone tell me why, with the exception of the Corvette, Camaro and Caddy CTS, why the Ford lineup of Vehicles look so much more stylish then the General's?
Because Harley Earl and Bill Mitchell retired.....when they did, the accountants flooded in and started telling the stylists (and engineers, for that matter) how to build cars. It's been downhill ever since

Well said.
As for the C6, the rest of the car has grown on me, but IMHO the nose still looks somewhat as if styled by the same guys who killed off the previous Camaro.
Do wish I could replace my DD (STS) with that CTS-V.
I like most of the new Camaro and I think they got pretty close to the retro look they were after, but it just doesn't click 100% when you see one on the road.

I did like the looks, handling, and power of the CTS-V that i tested for a day, but ended up with the big brother STS-V (wifey car).
Got an offer that was way to good. 1 year old with 13K for 40% of the original sticker....
IMO new Chevrolet styling is sadly lacking across the board. Even Buick has done a better job than Chevy, and Cadillac is the only division that has gotten it right.
Just how hard would it have been for GM to put together a fiberglass body in the form of the retro C3 that we've all seen?
The old camaro looked thin from the side view...the new one looks like the side of my old school bus...
While the overall height is correct, the beltline is too high, and the roofline too low. Looks like an old custom from the 50s, where the guy chopping the top went a little crazy. Then there's them thare "half round" tail lights....

couldn't be more correct.it all started back in the 70's when they decided that everything in the lineup was going to share everything brand to brand. i remember the cover of either motor trend or another similar car mag of a chevy, oldsmobile (i think although it might have been a pontiac) and buick, all painted the exact same red color and you couldn't tell them apart from each other. you actually had to look really hard to see the nose emblems to tell which one you were looking at. and by the way, in my opinion, none of them were worth getting excited over.it seems that all of a sudden creativity in styling just went out the window and we were left with homoginized products.

I wanted to say what you said after I really looked at them on google image....you are so right...side body to fat...roof too chopped.
