Your are going to really enjoy it.

I have a 2003 along with the 74.
Its the best of both worlds..........................

The C-5 is a great car for road trips, no worries, just a great dependable car

Congrats on your retirement, yup as we get older we need the comfort and cup holders. Have fun and enjoy they are great cars.

Didn't see the reference to retirement although I know what that means: lower back pain. Makes me think of selling my 1974 in the spring.

Congrats on your C5! I know your going to love it.

I got my 98 C5 with about 33,000 miles on it several years ago....it now has ~140,000 miles and still running strong. I like the C5 so much that I put an LS1/T56 in my 79 when I couldnt pass smog in Ca.

I paid $20k for my 98 C5 with 17k miles 5 months ago... Looks nice in the garage while Im out driving my 79.. Seems the 79 gets more attention than the 98, but the 98 is a bit more comfortable on trips.. (note, I didnt say reliable though)
