Steering Wheel Help

I am wondering if someone could verify the diameter for a 1968 steering wheel. I am look at one and it's a 16". For some reason I am under the impression the 68 was 15". Please set me straight on this.

I believe the '68s still had a 16" wheel; 15" wheels became standard in '69. I have a '71 and have gone to a 14" wheel which is much more comfortable to me.

Correct. 16" fake plastic looking (almost) wood.
