these are the top moldings off my '72
i know that to replace them i have to remove the screen to get to 2 screws.
so, is there an easy fix to tidy them up?
Humm, not in my case, but you might get lucky. I'm no expert but the bubbling looks too severe for a polish.
Whoohoo brand spanking new windshield is in, chrome I'll do later
Not so whoohoo .... Chrome trim assembled but where's the windshield, oh yeah in the garbage container (yeah, just because I fix those screws)

Nice pic! Now I can see where those two screws are. And I see why the glass has to come out.
The bubbles or pitting on your chrome looks pretty big. I would think if you buffed them smooth it would remove the chrome in the area and leave it a flat texture when finished.
Hi rr,
I agree that there's no cure for the bubbles.
Don't CHANCE taking the corners off with the glass in place.... unless.... you'd like a reason to get a new windshield.

Alan
Sorry if I gave bad advice, but I was pretty sure I put my corners on my 69 after windshield was installed. The screws were angled but the screw driver just missed the glass..guess I was wrong (it was 92!)
