I have a 75,does anyone know how wide I can go with tires without any problems?

I just put 255/60R15 on my 75 the other day. Got them from tire rack delivered the next day for $444. Goodrich TA radials, raised white letter. They look and handle great. No rubbing at all.

255's 70 will rub the frame & sometimes the fender when you turn the wheel lock to lock...BUT 255x60 wil lnot .

BUT boy I hate the 60's on the back of a C3...does not fill the fender well enough to suit my taste...lots of empty room especially if you just replaced the rear spring...and the car sits up a tad...
