T-top no trim ?

T-top no trim ?
Need some pics, close up if available of C3 t-tops with no chrome trim on top. May just leave the trim off if ti looks ok.

Hi M75,
The fiberglass comes to a pretty sharp edge; might be easy to damage.
Also, the front piece of trim has a little rubber bead for weather-strip. Don't know what happens without it.

Thank you for the pictures of the tops, will see what they look like with the trim removed. Good point Alan 71 about damage and being sharp.
Any tips on removing the trim? just getting to it now.

Hi m75,
The side piece is screwed on under the weatherstrip retainer. You'll see the asteners as you begin disassembly.
The front piece is crimped in place so needs to be pried off.
